Audrey with ladybugs!

Spring is just around the corner! It doesn't feel like it, but it will be here before we know it. I'm starting on my spring lines. Here's my very first "Audrey".
I hope she inspires you and gives everyone a taste of spring on this cold day.

This drawing is drawn in ink and then I used photoshop for the lighting effects. If you look close, his pupil is glowing red (he's a vampire)
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Busy, busy, busy here! I'm going to try to do a sketch for Stef's sketch challenge. I might even do a scrapbook page. My mom's in town so we'll work on something crafty. Happy Thursday!

Who doesn't love Twilight?

Anyone who loves Twilight will recognize these hands. I love using Twilight as a subject. It's so dramatic. Rhonda Zmikly bought this drawing for her daughter last fall. It's pencil drawn and colored with Copics on 140lb. watercolor paper.

My New Blog!

Hello friends,
My store blog has become a challenge blog, so I can now create a more personal blog. I'm very excited about this. I can display my artwork, talk about anything and everything. Now I just need a couple of followers. LOL!
This is a scrapbook page I did of my daughter Audrey. It was featured on the PrimaMarketing website.

The 80s Exhibition at Bendigo Art Gallery

The 80s was curated by Cooper-Lavery. Much of the exhibition draws from the gallery's extensive collection of paintings, prints, drawings and sculptures. It also features a striking installation of album covers gathered from private collections and a selection of distinctive 80s dresses selected from the Darnell Collection in NSW.

The exhibition opened on 28 November, 2009 and closes on 17 January, 2010.
