The residency runs until 9 August. The Art Vault is the initiative of Director Julie Chambers. There are two Artist in Residence apartments with separate studio. Mine is directly across from the apartment and I have 24 hour access (unlike my Melbourne studio.) There are also 10 studios which are rented to local artists. The printmaking studios are equipped for etching, relief and lithography - Peter Lancaster and David Frazer have just finished working on a lithograph there. The gallery (comprising one large space and a smaller side gallery) is beautiful. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, thoughtful and supportive.
